In the METRO assortment there are several important Own-Brands, within the Food as well as within the Nonfood sector.
In terms of an international consolidation process METRO puts the strategic focus on five Own-Brands, which are predestined for the Company´s Core Demand Customers (Hotels, Gastronomers, Caterers): Horeca Select, Rioba, H-Line, Fine Food and Aro.
Each of the five Own-Brands offers tailor-made solutions for the
different needs of various professional customers.
Aro –

The most cost-efficient assortment for the
day-to-day requirements are the products of
the Own-Brand line Aro. With more than 400
Food and about 200 Nonfood articles,
METRO offers a strong basic assortment, that
garantuees reliable quality, practical
packaging units and an optimal price-
performance ratio. For reaching this aim,
METRO makes huge efforts: by permanent
price monitoring of the Austrian retail market,
METRO is able to provide the lowest prices –
simply unbeatable for competitors.

Horeca Select –
5 Stars for Professional Cooking:
Horeca Select is made for Kitchen Professionals. This Own-Brand label is a real alternative to conventional brand products. These high-quality food articles have all features in order to fulfill the sophisticated needs of professional gastronomers. In the near future also organic products and regional specialities are planned to be integrated within this range. All products are developed in co-operation with professional chefs – exclusively for METRO. The production is strictly controlled for ensuring the ultimate quality and the best prices for our customers.

Rioba und H-Line –
